Devyani Patel - Lead Consultant & Trainer

Over 21 years’ experience in the financial, technology and business consultancy industries. Starting her career in training systems for a world wide airline, she quickly gained cross cultural and global experience. Developing systems and business processes with overseas clients, she pursued a career in Wall Street as Managing Director and Vice President roles for the New York and Hong Kong Stock markets and similarly, investment banks across the global.

Today the company has a team of lead trainers that offer clients exclusive courses in personal development, business management, financial & technology training and focuses on women and leadership.

She is a strong advocate for women leadership and is a supporting member to several Entrepreneurial organisations supporting business innovation, startup for the next generation and women in business. She holds the post of President fo rthe Entrepreneurs Club in Hong Kong supporting Entrepreneurship activities in HK.

Devyani has a BSc in Applied & Computer Science, an MBA from New York University, US and has completed the Securities Industry Institute management program from Wharton Business School, US.

Steven Yeong- Specialist in Talent Acquistion

Steven has been recruiting for Fortune 500 clients, Silicon Valley IT start-ups and Government-Linked Companies for the past 15 years. He has provided consulting in recruitment sourcing techniques and interview strategies for corporate recruiters and recruitment consultants from recruitment agencies. Mr Yeong has worked with clients such as Citibank, Motorola, Bayer Healthcare and other multi-national companies especially in Singapore, ASEAN, China and India. Most recently, Steven was the Senior Recruiter (Asia Pacific) for American software giant, Oracle Corporation.

Now, he is the Chief Talent Evangelist. Steven trains and develops the potential of recruiters in corporations and third party recruitment firms.

Olga Novikova - Specialist in Finance & Accounting

Olga started her career in finance and accounting in the Audit division of the PricewaterhouseCoopers, later moving to the Transaction Services where she helped buyers of businesses to understand the target’s financial situation and estimate its value. She is experienced both the emerging market environment and the established economies, and was at the forefront of the first wave of foreign investment into Russia in the late 1990s.

Upon completing her MBA at the INSEAD Business School in 2002, she joined adidas Group Headquarters in Germany as the Group Internal Auditor. She travelled extensively as her assignments took her to Spain, Portugal, France, Netherlands, UK, Argentina, India, Thailand and other locations. In 2005, she moved to Hong Kong to head the Asia Regional Project Office for adidas, where she was in charge of the strategic planning and priority setting process. While in Hong Kong, she set up and delivered, throughout Asia, the very popular in-house training course Finance for Non-Finance Managers. Her latest role at adidas was with the Global Finance, where she led the project for adidas was establishing the Financial Shared Service Centre for adidas Asia/Pacific.

Besides having the MBA degree from the INSEAD, Olga is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (and the recipient of the ACCA Gold Medal for the highest world-wide results in the Final examinations).

Andy Mayer - Lead Trainer and Specialist in Trading & Finance Skills

Andy Mayer has over 14 years experience as a derivatives trader and manager in the investment banking industry. He began his career in London with NatWest Global Financial Markets, and worked for Credit Agricole and Morgan Stanley before moving to Asia in 2010. His most recent banking role was running the Asia FX derivatives department at CIBC Hong Kong.He is now passionate about training and using his experience in trading. He has developed this entire Trading FC curriculum for junior to senior finance level staff. ​

Andy has a BSc from the University of Durham, England and an MSc in mathematical modelling from Edinburgh University, Scotland. He holds a diploma in technical analysis from the Society of Technical Analysts.

Surj Bahra - Lead Trainer in Mindfulness @ Work

Surj has fifteen years of executive experience from a career in banking at Forward Trust Group, HSBC and Tokyo-Mitsubishi International, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and is appreciative and sensitive to corporate challenges. She has conducted workshops in professional presence for personnel from various firms including HSBC, SparksAsia and has conducted workshops for various groups including the German Institute HK and Linklaters.

Her specialties are coaching individuals and teams through formal facilitation, personal branding and corporate workshops in appearance, behaviour and communication skills. Her qualifications are working towards an Associate Certified Coach qualification with the ICF (International Coach Federation), Certified CBMT (Corp- Based Mindfulness Training) Facilitator, Certified Genos Emotional Intelligence practitioner, University of the West of England: Postgraduate Master’s Level, Bristol Business School: Advanced Business Executive Coach.
